Dr. Samuel K. Frimpong

Dr. Samuel Kwadwo Frimpong is an Industrial Economist and a lecturer at University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). He is a Ghana-based Business and FDI consultant. Who helps businesses unlock opportunities in Ghana's growing market, leveraging on his expertise in market entry strategy, investment facilitation, and local content development."

He was a Technical Economic Advisor to the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana (2017- 2025). He is the Founder of RoyalAid Foundation, an NGO in Ghana and also the Founding Executive Director of the Aliu Mahama Foundation. Dr. Frimpong is a Chartered Management Consultant and also Chartered Professional Administration Consultant. He holds PhD in Industrial Economics, Masters in Business Administration, Executive Masters in Development Policies and Practices, Postgraduate Certificate in Public Administration, an Advance Certificate in Project Management and BSc in Agricultural Technology (Agric Economics).

He is a former National President of the University Students Association of Ghana (USAG) and President of National Union of Ghanaian Students, China (NUGS-China) where he contributed immensely to the development of student leaders across Ghana and China respectively. He was the former Aide and Spokesperson to the former Vice President of the Republic of Ghana (2001 -2009), the late H.E Aliu Mahama

Dr. Frimpong has over the years imparted his knowledge to several students as a lecturer at the University of Professional Studies, Accra. He was also a Lecturer at Academic City College, an Adjunct Lecturer at University College of Entrepreneurship, Institute of Technology and visiting lecturer to Noble International Business School all in Accra. At the private sector front, Dr Frimpong served as the Managing Director of Afro Arab Group of Companies.

As a public servant, he was an anchor part of the team tasked with the oversight responsibility for the coordination of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) and the Zongo (Inner Cities) Development Fund at the office of the Vice President of Ghana. He supported the CEO of the Nation Builders Corps to successfully roll out employment program providing opportunities for over 100,000 Ghanaian graduates. This initiative has made significant impact in mitigating the youth unemployment situation in Ghana over the past 8 years. He also led the establishment of the Zongo (Inner Cities) Development Fund Secretariat and provided management support to the secretariat (2018-2025). Dr S.K. Frimpong is a He for She advocate.
